In a posting back in January, I invited contact from the descendants of several 'lines' of the Dennis family. Perhaps as the fortuitous result of a small glitch in that posting, I have now been contacted by Roslyn Johansson. She pointed out an error in my blog entry, which I am happy to rectify. The correct listing of the children of Charles and Catherine Dennis is as follows - Jane Amitholia Dennis (born 1875), Philippa Dennis (born 1877) and Emma Sophia Dennis (born 1879). Rest assured, the published book From Buryan to Bondi (available online at BookPOD) contains the correct information.
Roslyn is a descendant of Philippa Dennis, and between us we may be able to work out whether Charles Dennis from Wendron connects to the Dennis family of Saint Buryan.
